Swift Lounge serves espresso martinis at 2881 Clark Rd, Ste 23, Sarasota, FL 34231, next to MasÅ Steakhouse. Espresso is pulled fresh every service day, each drink is shaken twice and double strained, and you can order it as the Affogato Espresso Martini over pistachio or vanilla gelato. Open Tuesday - Saturday 4 PM - 10 PM with free on-site parking.
We grind and pull fresh espresso every service day. No bottled cold brew, no coffee syrup. The hot shot goes straight into the tin, which is what gives the drink its roasted depth instead of a flat, sugary finish.
First shake over fresh ice to chill and aerate the coffee oils. Second shake, a short reverse shake, whips the crema into a dense foam that holds to the last sip.
Poured through a Hawthorne strainer and a fine mesh so no ice shards or coffee grounds make the glass. Served up in a chilled coupe with three beans on the crema.
Order it affogato style and we set a scoop of gelato in the coupe, then pour the finished martini over the top at the table. Pistachio brings a nutty, salted edge against the roast. Vanilla melts into something rounder and creamier. Cocktail and dessert in one glass, spoon included.
